As we go out on the streets we can see cars that look like the same, even its colors and features, engine displacements and design. Because of modernization auto production is just very fast. Every year a new car models has been introduced by car dealers and manufacturers which makes the old model more obsolete. Anybody can afford to buy brand new cars with just a few down payments and monthly fees from the banks. If you want to stand out or be different to others you may choose classic or vintage cars. Auto restoration is a passion for those with plenty of time, of determination and deep pockets; you know what I’m saying right. Looking for the Right Project Car

Maybe you have a good choice of vehicle in your mind, the second step is to look for that specific car that you want to restore. You must bear in mind that restoring a rare car is more difficult and expensive than some classic cars. Restoration parts that you will need are much harder to look for.

Tools and Equipment

In making the exterior and the interior looks good, you need a set of right tools and equipment to accomplish your project. You need a wide range of torque wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers and some special tools and also equipments for welding, polishing and painting jobs.

Interior Detailing

You cannot say where you are going to find your project car for restoration, maybe you can find one on junkyards, old garage or just under a tree on a barn. The amount of work needed will depend on the condition of the vehicles, perhaps I am sure it needs a new upholstery, panels, and sidings, some electrical on the dashboard gauge maybe in need of new parts to function better.

Change the Exterior Look

After you have complete the restoration parts for your interior, the exterior may need a new paint job and body repair. Usually they used sand blasting of paint stripper to strips the old coating of paints, makes sure to eliminate all the rust present in the body before the final coating of paints.

Overall Appearance

Looking great is just not enough. A proper inspection of exterior parts such as door handles, emblems, window trimmings and other small parts are either repairing or replacing.  It not just the appearance that is important you must be particular with the engine. Your engine may need a whole engine rebuild to have a better performance, you may dismantle the whole engine and look for parts available in the market.
